TYCHEM® C has an antistatic coating on the white inside surface. When protection against the build up of electrostatic charge is needed, specific grounding conditions must be allowed.

TYCHEM® C is 100% particle tight, it provides total protection against ultra-fine hazardous dust and powders, concentrated inorganic acids and bases and water-based salt solutions. TYCHEM® C has passed penetration tests with blood and surrogate viruses which proves it can be used to protect against body fluids, blood and blood bourne pathogens.

TYCHEM® C does not contain any halogenated compounds, and therefore may be incinerated or buried in a controlled landfill. Contaminated garments should be disposed of in the same manner as contaminated waste, always in accordance with national regulations. Uncontaminated garments can also be recycled.

TYCHEM® TK® has decumented barrier against more than 327 chemicals. More than 260 of these with no observed permeation after eight hours of continuous contact.

The lime yellow colour of TYCHEM® TK® is highly visible in both low light and bright situations. This colour was choosen because it is one of the most visible, providing a greater margin of safety in emergency situation. TYCHEM® TK® is available in Level A and Level B garments, and are in NFPA 1991 certified ensembles.
